RICARDO ALZATE-CASTAÑO
Former Master's student

Ricardo Alzate-Castaño was born in Palmira (Valle del Cauca) - Colombia on March 6th 1979. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science and automation from the University of Naples - FEDERICO II (May 2009), the B.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering (December 2003) and a M.Sc. degree in Industrial Automation (March 2006) both from the National University of Colombia - Manizales. His research interest includes: the analysis of piecewise-smooth dynamical systems, the implementation of signal processing algorithms on DSP processors and the automated localization of acoustic sources. Since July 2009 Ricardo joined the Automation Engineering program at La Salle University in Colombia, as lecturer.
